About Us

Our story is a lot like most; we wanted to add a dog to our family which at the time consisted of Jeff and I (Tracy) and our two daughters Paige and Nicky.  Oh and don’t forget about our cat, Angel.  Our journey began when we were stationed at Spangdahlem, Germany Air Base. We went to a local feed store to find out about available Boxer litters, and breeders.  That was when I saw a Dogue De Bordeaux breed book (the book was in German).  We went home and searched the internet for information about the breed.   We came across the DDBS club, and were referred to the De Legeane kennel (in Holland) from a member. Jeff and I had a great opportunity to visit Jan Dijkstra and his dogues while we were in Germany, and fell in love with Maxima while we were there.    After waiting over a year, we brought home our first dogue Havoc.  It was love at first lick.

We have since moved back to the US, and after a short ten month stop in New Jersey, we settled down in Spokane, WA.  We have also added three more soul mates (Chaos, Mayhem. and Balistic) to our family, have made lots of friends, and lost a soul mate (Havoc) along the way.   We are members of the DDBS, NABF, and have also joined the local kennel club.  These clubs have proven to be a great information resource. We have learned a lot about the breed and dog health, since we first brought Havoc home.

We had our first litter this spring, which has been a lot of fun and excitement.  We kept one of the puppies, Drama (She has earned her name), and Balistic is already trying to court her.  Jeff and I have had so much fun planning out the breeding for Chaos and can’t wait to see our first litter mature. We are anxious to see how the judges like our Drama.  We are planning on breeding our other female, Mayhem, summer 2009.  Our goal, when choosing a match for our dogues, is to produce a healthier dogue while keeping in standards.  We would love to see Bordeaux increase their longevity as we lost Havoc too young.

All of our dogues are family members first, and hobby second. We highly recommend learning about the breed, and meeting them in person, they are not for everyone.  They can be a high maintenance breed, due to size, health and slobber.  All the dogues we place come with a contract for the well being of the puppy.  We want to place our puppies in forever homes.  We only breed with a plan so we won’t always have a litter waiting for a home.  Our goal is to have a home waiting for a puppy. We can also recommend other breeders to help you on your path to find that right soulmate.
